Hyams beach Jervis Bay (JB) NSW, which is said to have the whitest sands in Australia, is about 20 minutes North by road from the Homestead.
Jervis Bay Marine Park within Jervis Bay is a haven for bottlenose dolphins, fur seals, little penguins and other creatures such as humpback whales on their annual migration along the NSW South Coast.
Booderee Botanic Gardens within the Jervis Bay Territory is 20 minutes from the Homestead. The gardens have a comprehensive number of Australian native plants and are a place of outstanding natural beauty.
Learn about Koori culture and traditional foods through the Booderee Aboriginal interpretive program.
Enjoy a wide range of walks, surf at Cave Beach or swim amongst the fish in the tranquil waters of Green Patch Beach. The historic Cape St George Lighthouse is the perfect location for whale and bird watching.
Bherwerre beach within Jervis Bay Territory, a stunning and very private beach, is about five minutes by car and a 500 metre walk through the sandhills from the Homestead. The beach is rated as a top fishing beach with the popular species Bream and Whiting.
